elizabeth in paris.*

If you've happened to find somehow find my little blog, welcome! The crickets and I could use the company.

I'm Elizabeth, a thirty-something woman-child and writer living in Dallas. I have a thing for horror movies, Reese's peanut butter cups, and whiskers on kittens.

I am seeking a new path, a way out of the mundane, butter-soft drudgery that has become my my life. I am tired of feeling stuck and unfulfilled. I need a new adventure, and I believe that movng to Paris is it.

I don't know how much I'll use this blog in the beginning. I'm not currently in Paris now, but am simply at the research/prepatory portion of the program. Maybe I'll document the thrilling business of getting a visa, finding a job in France, and  brushing up on my French. Seriously, I took two years of it in high school and two in college, and yet, I can't hold a conversation that doesn't consist of asking for directions to the library, or talking about how much I love menthe a l'eau.
